highlight upcoming KCS Celebrity Event for Cancer

Kitsap Cancer Services Celebrity Benefit for Cancer
brings 16 NW Football Celebrities

Kitsap Golf and Country Club will host the 5 Annual KCS Celebrity Benefit for Cancer on Friday, June 13, 2008. Sixteen former Husky and Cougar athletes and coaches will participate in this event that helps provide support services and education for people and families living with cancer in the Kitsap community.

KCS board member, event coordinator, and former longtime Cougar athletic trainer, Mark J Smaha has commitments from Cougars, Jim Walden, Drew Bledsoe, Jack Thompson, Mark Rypien, Rueben Mayes, Kerry Porter [1985 Cougar All American "RPM" backfield], Robbie Tobeck, Duane Stewart, and Justin Marquardt. Former Husky's, Jim Lambright, Dick Baird, Cary Conklin, Greg Lewis, Scott Pelluer, and Paul Skansi, along with former Seahawk kicker, Norm Johnson will also be on hand for the fund raising event.
