2021 Golf Challenge

Updated: Jun 25, 2021

Kitsap Cancer Services Annual Golf Challenge is back on for July, 31st 2021!

After a year hiatus due to Covid, the Kitsap Cancer Services annual fundraiser is back live.

On Saturday, July 31, 2021 golfers will again gather at the Kitsap Golf and Country Club for a good cause.

The annual tournament has been a major fundraiser of Kitsap Cancer Services since 2004. Due to Covid restrictions, the 2020 tournament had to be cancelled. But thanks to the enormous generosity of sponsors, the organization was still able to raise funds to help those most financially vulnerable in Kitsap County facing a cancer diagnosis.

Kitsap Cancer Services is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping low-income residents in the county who face challenges after being diagnosed with cancer. Director Jackie Smaha, and her husband Mark, have been coordinating the Golf Challenge since its inception.

“It’s a good way for people to get together and have a great time while helping the community” said Smaha.

The fundraiser has various sponsorship levels for local business, supporting teams and players that compete for great on course contests and prizes, one of which is the Corporate Cup for lowest team score, for business sponsors $1000 and up. Singles and singles teams will be allowed as room permits for $150 per player.

Plus, this year, there will be a raffle for a VERY special prize: A 3-night stay and play at the Circling Raven Golf Club in Idaho. Recently named “Best Course in Idaho” by Golfweek and a Golf Digest top 100. This course sits amid the trees and rolling wheat fields of the Palouse just South of Coeur d’Alene.

Birdie ($1,000) and Hole ($500) sponsorships are still available. If interested please contact Kitsap Cancer Services at: Director@kitsapcancerservices.org, or 360-204-6399.
